Oracle Decks

Over the years, Zannah has accumulated a handful of oracle decks.

Oracle decks are a less intense version of tarot, where each deck is unique and holds it’s own teachings departed from a set system.

Tarot Decks

Zannah has…. maybe too many tarot decks… But! They have very kindly reviewed them all so you can easily decide which deck you would like her to use!

Tarot uses a set system, so each deck holds the same number of cards and has the same suit. Though each deck looks different, and some even give different names to the cards, they will all generally have the same meanings, depending on how the user decides to read them.

Believe In Your Own Magic - Amanda Lovelace

“This was the first oracle deck I owned. It immediately gives me positive vibes when I hold it and I rely on this deck when I want to take a softer approach to a reading or when someone is seeking comfort over criticism.”

Artwork - ✦✦✦✦ (4/5)

The artwork is beautiful and diverse

Energy - ✦✦✦✦✦ (5/5)

I use this deck for when I wand a kind perspective

Shuffle ability - ✦✦✧✧✧ (2/5)

They are slightly too wide for me to comfortably shuffle

Connection - ✦✦✦✦ (4/5)

I don’t use this deck as much as I should, but it is very easy to connect to

Flowers and Feelings - Cosmic Valeria

“Also known as the Titty Deck withing Whimsy grove, this deck comes with folklore, history and applications in the real world. Learn about the lore of plants and allow yourself to be guided by the lessons that can be gleaned from their history. Also, titties.”

Artwork - ✦✦✦✦ (4/5)

Yes, there’s titties, but the art is so breath-taking and intricate

Energy - ✦✦✦✧✧ (3/5)

These cards aren’t afraid to point out an issue, but they’ll do it with kindness

Shuffle ability - ✦✦✦✧✧ (3/5)

They are slightly too wide for me to comfortably shuffle

Connection - ✦✦✦✧✧ (4/5)

I don’t use this deck as much as I should, it takes me a little bit of time to pull a card when I haven’t used it in a while

The Green Witch - Arin Murphy-Hiscock

“One of my favourite decks in terms of the art. The deck is themed around witchy and naturistic topics, it is always a joy when I stumble across a card I don’t recognise. I also enjoy the journal prompts included in the book for each card.”

Artwork - ✦✦✦✦✦ (5/5)

The art feels rustic and like home. I find myself lost in its whimsy.

Energy - ✦✦✦✦ (4/5)

Though these cards are capable of telling you off, you are at least given kind words and a prompt to work on. It feels like grandma advice.

Shuffle ability - ✦✦✦✦ (4/5)

They are slightly too wide for my hands but still comfortable to shuffle

Connection - ✦✦✦✦✦ (5/5)

I love this deck a lot and am never disappointed with the ease of use

Woodland Wardens - Jessica Roux

“Another from my favourite decks in terms of the art. This deck is one to use when you need some firmer guidance. Not only do I often find some of the messages to outright call you out, but the cards can also be read in reverse.”

Artwork - ✦✦✦✦✦ (5/5)

The colours and composition just feel so vintage. I love the style so much.

Energy - ✦✦✧✧✧ (2/5)

You may get a telling off by this deck. It will give you journal prompts and it won’t necessarily tell you a bad thing, you just have a high chance of getting called out.

Shuffle ability - ✦✦✦✦✦ (5/5)

My favourite oracle deck to shuffle, it feels so good to hold.

Connection - ✦✦✦✦ (4/5)

I am drawn to this deck a lot, though sometimes the cards can take a little time to jump out

Pendulum

Zannah has a pendulum that she will use to commune with her spirit guides. They rarely share this practice as it is highly personal, but highly advocates a budding witch use one to help with confidence, especially in the beginning of a witchcraft journey.

Singing Bowl

Though incense can be a wonderful way to cleanse the space, Zannah practices in a small, enclosed room, and too much incense it…. bad. Using a singing bowl not only cleanses quickly, but also sounds wonderful.
